Amazon’s new work-from-home policy: let individual teams decide

Amazon will allow individual directors to decide how often their team can work remotely as part of the planned return to the latest office. Like Apple, Facebook, and Google, this company was recently planned for its corporate employees to return to the office in early 2022. At that time, Amazon said the expectations would mostly start working at least three days a week. Recognizing the complexity of sustainable pandemic, the company has decided to take a more flexible approach.

“We hope that there will be a team that continues to work mostly remotely, others who will work on some combinations remotely and in the office, and still others who will decide the customers best served have most team work in the office,” Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said in email to employees of online sharing company.

The company expects most teams to need several weeks to develop and communicate their respective plans. After they are ready, Amazon anticipates they will share details before January 3, which is the date the company set for employees to return to the office. Of all office repair plans, we have seen details in recent months, Amazon seems to be the most reasonable. Factors such as various levels of vaccination and casel in various cities and states have made it difficult to predict how the pandemic will continue to evolve.
