If you are looking for a new WiFi 6E Mesh Internet system, Netgear has … option for you. The Orbi 6E quad-band WiFi 6E system allows new available (in the Select of the World) 6GHz internet wifi “throughout the house.” This is a type of router and internet mesh system that you get when you want to be ready for the future – or now, if you happen to be one of the few with access to WiFi 6E.
The Wifi NetGear Orbi Quad-Band Mesh system replaces the previous most powerful Mesh System available from the brand – which becomes the Tri-band ORBI WiFi system 6. This new system adds four bands to utilize new 6GHz wifi available.
Support up to 10 Gigabits has been included with this router, to ensure the user is ready for “the fastest internet speed available now or in the near future.” This mesh system can handle 16 WiFi streams, “the highest specifications available” at 2.4, 5, and 6GHz.
Netgear shows that devices running on wifi ribbons 2.4GHz and 5GHz will benefit from additional bands available with this new router system. Netgear said that this device will experience “increased coverage and an increase of speed of up to 30 percent … because the wifi system is upgraded and antenna design.” That’s compared with the Tri-band ORBI (RBK850).
To use the 6GHz Wifi, this router / mesh system is capable of work, users must have internet services that provide a 6GHz band. Users also need to have devices that can use the band. Samsung Galaxy S21 can use WiFi 6E. Galaxy Z Folding 3 5g, Asus Zenfone 8, Xiaomi Mi 11, Dell Latitude 5520, Lenovo ThinkPad T14, Intel WiFi 6E PCIE Card, and TV Samsung Neo QLED 8K has the ability to connect with WiFi 6E too.
Quad-band netgear quad-band wifi system will be available in several different packages. There will be one with the RBKE963 code with one router and 2 satellites for $ 1499.99 MSRP. Another set has the same price as the RBKE693B code with 2 satellites and one “Orbi Black Edition” router. You can also buy the Satellite Add-on itself (RBSE960) for MSRP $ 599. The internet mesh system will be released on pre-orders starting today.
This should not be too surprising, because the first wifi router in the world was announced at a price of more than $ 500 USD. It’s back in January 2021 – and the technology costs don’t seem to go down very quickly!
