Tesla’s Berlin Gigafactory could produce EVs as soon as November

Gigafactory Germany Tesla has been close to the manufacture of its first electric car. As a Bloomberg report, the head of the company Elon Musk told them on the 9th October event that the Berlin-region plant had to start the Y model crossover production in November or December. Challenges, because Musk explained, bringing production to a healthy level.

The CEO estimates that Gigafactory Berlin will produce 5,000 to 10,000 vehicles per week, but only at the end of 2022. This facility is likely to source batteries from China to the German cell factory ready, he added. Don’t expect this latest factory to play a meaningful role in Tesla’s revenue for a while.

It also assumes Gigaffactory moves forward according to the plan. Tesla still faces complaints and lawsuits for the impact of plants, especially in the environment, and the public consultation process will not be completed until October 14. There are opportunities for officials may reject the final approval or need further appointments.

Tesla has vowed to compensate the impact of the factory by planting more trees than removed, not to mention minimizing water use. Is that enough to please authority, it is a European plan Tesla which clearly has reached a turning point. The next few weeks can decide whether Tesla surged in the region or struggle against petellings to be covered.
